Greater Noida : Brijesh Srivastava. The students and staff of Sri Chaitanya techno school, Noida 4 came together to celebrate the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on August 15th. The event was a vibrant display of national pride, unity and the spirit of freedom.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Principal Kopal Srivastava and chief guest K.P. Singh, accompanied by the school Regional Incharge  Mr. Ajeet Kumar. The national anthem was sung with great zeal, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride and unity.

In her opening speech, the principal emphasized the importance of understanding the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibility of today’s generation to uphold the values of freedom and democracy. She encouraged the students to be proud of their heritage and to work hard to contribute positively to the nation’s future.

The cultural program that followed was a highlight of the day. Students from various grades participated in patriotic songs, dances and skits that showcased the rich cultural diversity of India. The performances were met with loud applause, reflecting the student's deep connection to their country.

A special tribute was paid to the freedom fighters with a skit depicting the struggles and sacrifices made during the independence movement. The emotional portrayal of these historical moments brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience.

As the celebration drew to a close, the students took a pledge to uphold the values of freedom, equality and justice, and to contribute to the nation’s progress in every possible way. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Regional Incharge Mr. Ajeet Kumar who expressed gratitude to everyone who made the celebration a success.
